Going-On's with the Site & Why We Might Institute an IQ Test To Allow Membership Purchases

So, here's the deal with the site.

There is a lot of "fixin'" going on behind the scenes and its going to be a week or so more before we start to post the podcasts to the website.

Why?  Because we want to make sure it is fixed this time.  So, if it takes a bit longer, so be it.  My apologies.

Knowing that you have paid for access to the site and getting the uncensored podcasts is a major part of your reason for subscribing.  While we fix all of this the podcasts are being posted to iTunes as always.  Knowing that some of you are having issues with iTunes, know that you can pull from the RSS feed page (pending that you have a RSS reader).

http://www.lexandterry.com/rss/rss.xml

To make this right, we will only add your "free extra month" to your account after we start posting the podcasts.  So, until its right, you will get the full time you paid for, either a month or year.  Plus as a bonus, for this coming two week vacation, we WILL be posting podcasts from the "Best Of's".

Now I shall, "blog"...

Funny, but this experience of launching the site has exposed me to a whole new universe of frustration.

Being a consumer, I have a very serious sense about "customer service" and how companies should treat people that spend money.  My expectations are that when businesses do something wrong, they should eat the costs and go out of their way to make the situation right with that customer.  So, in the real world, people probably hate to see me walk through their store doors.

Now, I'm on the other side of the coin.

Man, there are some dumb fucks out there.

I totally believe in the rule,  "The customer is always right", but for the love of the sweet Baby Jesus - if you can't type, remember your email address or password - stay off the internet.

It's not my fault that you gave yourself the email address "yummimuffin@whatever.com", but you forgot that you spelled it "yummi" instead of "yummy".

I cannot help you when the password YOU gave yourself is the ID Number from the 3rd Starship Enterprise, but you SWEAR up and down it is "yodarocks69".

Actually I can fix both of those issues pretty quickly, it is the repeat offender that I want to pee on.

I love you people, and my appreciation of your purchase cannot be measured.  Even you knuckleheads.

My next blog will be my Xmas Gift Wish List - with links included!

Peter you rock. I hate the idea of "blogging" but yours are awesome and you're hilarious.

Peter, Thanks for writing as much as you do. I never have been in to reading blogs, I think mainly because most blogs are by people and about things I don't have any interest in. I am very interested in the behind the scenes action with your show. Keep up the blogging and tell Scott to get off his ass and post something. Even Taint has at least his first blog.

Technology is a double edged sword. On the one hand, it was good when it was a certain kinda of "club." People either got it or they didn't. It's the watering down and made more accessible causes the problem. But those retards are what drives business and that sucks.

Peter, the listener's would not have so many problems with content if you'd keep your fucking mouth shut. I understand that in your excitement you say, “…and beginning Friday you can get (insert non-existent content here) if you are a subscriber to the new Lex and Terry site. In the future just keep it to yourself until the content is posted. (i.e. Drunk bitch reunion videos). Also, I love the show and the hard work you put into it, Thanks. I just wanted to comment on your blog. You’d better hurry up with the Christmas list to allow time for shipping to you. Jason B. (Podcaster "RSS" – Columbia SC)

Hey Peter, I believe myself and many of the not so stupid listeners think you have done and are doing a great job. As anal as you seem to be I have faith you will stick to it til it is 100% and I am sure most of us have the patience to wait so it will all be done right when it is done. On behalf of myself thanks for all your doing and Love your news, Roger

Hey Peter great blog. I did computer support on the side a few years back. I had to quit doing it after the 4th customer just because it was so frustrating dealing with people that shouldn't be on the internet. Stay strong man, it's far from over.

Hi Peter, I just wanted to take a moment to say that you have done a tremendous job on the site. I can't imagine how hard it's been to get it working right. I'm really looking forward to the uncensored podcast, but we can all be patient. I will try my damnedest not to be a knucklehead! Keep on rockin'!

Thanks for all you have done for us, Pete! I completely understand your frustration with the dumbasses you deal with in a customer service business. After spending 14 years managing restaurants and dealing with the same fuck-tards you now are, I was able to console myself slightly by remembering a slight modification to the "Customer is always right" phrase... "The customer is NOT always right, but, sometimes, it's OK for the customer to be wrong." If that doesn't work, just kill the pieces of shit! - Mike

You're doing a good job man. I know it's got to be frustrating and even though I can't wait for the uncensored podcasts, I do realize there are reasons for them not being up yet. Also, thanks for posting best-of's over the break. You guys get me through many lonely nights of solo baking. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Without sounding like a flaming soccer loving homosexual, I'm a long time Peter lover. I love the fact clip shows are now being posted via podcast. Feels like there's a little bit of Peter love inside of us all, except without the embarrassment, awkwardness, and crying.

Peter, your blogs are great. I can only imagine the number of complaint emails that you have received, I sent a couple of them. Keep up the good work.

If you're too big a dumbfuck to remember your password then you don't belong on this website. And how bout them Red Raiders!!!!!!!

Yeh people need to learn to keep track of their usernames and passwords. There are even programs that will do it for you. And as far as the website goes...just by looking at ktek's home page, I wouldn't have used them. However much you paid them was 2x too much. I'm pretty tech savy and there are some simple things going wrong, bad coding here and there, and the main table is too small. You guys mentioned you may have to hire guys just to take care of your site for you, it's a great idea. (I'm here if you need me! hah). I'm a faithful follower, but hey, I'm just keeping it real.
