If you heard the news this morning there was a massive car wreck in Florida of some kids in their dad's new BMW and they ended up in the worst wreck I have ever seen... All five were killed and the impact was so massive that the engine actually was separated from the car.  Holy shit.

Holy shit.  Ya know when lame-o movie reviews call a movie a, "Roller Coaster Ride"...

Well that is just PR bull crap.

But JJ Abrams' new "Amercian Godzilla fucks up NYC" movie is a the cinematic version of a roller coaster ride.

90 minutes of shaky, can't tell what is going on, stomach churning, screwing with brain calculation wickedness.

No, it isn't "scary", but it is intense and the fact the whole thing is shot like your cousin's crappy home videos lends me to give this piece of advice:

If you suffer from even a slight case of motion sickness in any vehicle, "Blair Witch" made you queasy, or you can't go on the carnival spinner, do NOT go see this flick.

I do not suffer from anything like that, and by the end I thought my tummy was going to burst from my navel.  My wife who doesn't really have a motion issue, either, looked like a white sheet after the movie...

So, go see it.  But don't eat chili before hand.

As you probably have figured out, the podcasts have been moved to the site and removed from the old RSS feed that was supplying iTunes.  Please head over to the podcast section of the site and start downloading.  Oh, before you do, please read the stuff on that page, it explains a lot and will save you the trouble of emailing me a question.

Also, we have started posting new audio/video and for starters it's part one of the DBF Reunion 2 video... This is just awesome stuff.  I hadn't watched it in a long time, and in rediscovering it I just was flooded with great and funny memories.  We intended to sell this as a DVD, but right after we did this event, the FCC started their now famous "crack down" on morning shows and we made the call to just hold off and not add gas to that fire.  So, this stuff has never been shown publically.  Take note that while you watch it, pay attention to Kim.  She had been hired just a couple of months prior to this event and the look on her face of "realization" is priceless.

Drunk Bitch Friday
was really the proverbial "double edge sword".  It was, without debate, a giant pain in the ass for all of us on the show.  But when we had the right girl in the right mood and the wheels fell off, it was some of the greatest moments in show history.

The more we did it, the more the "suits" worried and came to us with more rules.  To be fair, many of their concerns were legit and we came up with ways to safe guard the bit.  In the end we had pages of legal documents, a cop on site, the girl had to bring a female handler and a staff member had to be with her the whole time.  We had to rent them a hotel, limos and take all kinds of preventative measures.  Funny, I used to tell the General Managers of our affilaite stations that would call with their concerns, "Look, I promise you, these girls are much safer here on a Friday morning than they are on their normal Friday night."

There are times I wish we still did DBF, but mostly I am glad it ended when it did because it just had all the fun sucked out of it because too many people not directly involved were determined to ruin it.

Man, I love these first two weeks of a new year...

The Consumer Electronics Show is in full swing in Vegas and all of the new techno-crap is being debuted.

Here are some great links for coverage of the show.

Engadget

Gizmodo

There is all kinds of cool crap to look at and wonder how you will ever pay for...

Also, next week is MacWorld...

What will we see there?  A new iPhone?  A little tiny, lightweight notebook?  Whatever pops up, it will be awesome.

Also, starting this week I have begun to produce something called "The Geek-Out" that you can hear on the audio stream that is on the website.  On this I will talking about all things nerdy, geeky and tech oriented.  So, don't miss that... It will be new and refreshed on a regular basis...

And for you porn fans (ie: everyone)... At the CES is also the Adult Entertainment Expo 2008.  Everything new in porn from hardware to software is on display in Vegas this week too....
