Ok, on to other things...

Last weekend I got a copy of Death Cab for Cutie's new CD. I haven't been a hard core fan of these guys, I mean, I've liked their previous stuff and I have also enjoyed the spin off band "Postal Service". But this new CD is really, really good. "Narrow Stairs" is full of space rock goodness and the first single, "I Will Possess Your Heart" is an outstanding stalker anthem. Here they are on Letterman the other night.

	Narrow Stairs is great, no question, but compared to albums like Transatlanticism and Photo Album, it just doesn't measure up. To me it feels a bit rushed and overproduced. I mean, as great as I Will Posses Your Heart is, do we really need a 4-minute intro of the same 6 notes?

	Glen... You obviously are a fan of the band, so I will defer to you about how good this CD is compared to the others. I never really spent time with the other CDs, maybe I should. For the record, I dig that intro.
