Here is the now famous "forged" Cal Ripken baseball. Lex bought this ball at a silent auction 2 summers ago and paid $300. He thought all along that it was real - that is until Cal himself came to the studio. Cal took one look at the ball and proclaimed it a "fake".

So, Lex had Cal actually sign the ball in person.
