HPOA “Hot Piece of Ass”
The HPOA is a designation given only to the very hottest of girls. Let it be clear that while there are thousands of “hot chicks”, there are only a very few “HPOA’s”. Think of it this way, there are many outstanding atheletes, but only one Jordan, Gretsky, Sanders or Ruth.
The idea around HPOA is to find such a girl and have her come just hang out in the studio to give Lex & Terry inspiration. You know how it is was when the hot chick was watching you participate in a sport – you’d run faster, jump higher, hit harder – all because she was in your presence. Same theory pertains here.
In the history of the show there have been four girls given “HPOA” status. You will hear L&T refer to them as “HPOA #1”, “H3” or something similar.
The rules for naming a new HPOA are simple. It has to be a unanimous vote amongst the guys on the show, after meeting her in person. History is littered with super hotties that have fallen short of HPOA status because a single person on the staff has refused to give a “yes” vote.
